The Hypersonic Base Layer is the critical foundation of our fastest, most aerodynamic setup to date. Without it, the Hypersonic Speedsuit cannot deliver its full performance advantage. we strongly recommend buying both together—the base layer is essential to achieving the suit’s intended aerodynamic performance.
Developed in conjunction with former world hour record holder Alex Dowsett and refined in the Silverstone wind tunnel, this system is purpose-built for time-trial and track racing at speeds between 40 and 50km/h.
Using specially selected close-knit weave fabrics, the Hypersonic Speedsuit is near-impenetrable to air, smoothing airflow around the torso to significantly reduce drag, making it our most aero and fastest suit yet.
The shorts feature Nopinz’s proprietary Speedscalez™ fabric, a triangular, textured material engineered specifically to cut drag and enhance stability at speed. Next-level comfort is delivered by a gender-specific Teosport chamois, designed for the time-trial position and suitable for even the longest efforts.
Low-profile gripper bands at the wrists and thighs keep everything perfectly in place on the bike without unnecessary pressure.
As you’d expect, the Hypersonic Speedsuit is available with the revolutionary Nopinz Speedpocket™, eliminating the need for pins and further improving aerodynamics.
Compliant with UCI regulations for materials and design, the Hypersonic Speedsuit is built with a durable premium zip and comes in seven sizes, with both ‘standard’ and ‘tall’ options for a semi-bespoke fit. Born in the wind tunnel, it truly comes to life on the open road.

The model is 162 cm tall and weighs 55 kg, and is wearing a size XS Tall.
We recommend using height and weight if you’re unsure about sizing. If you are outside the standard height range, we suggest selecting the tall option.

Crash Replacement
If you have a spill and damage your kit, Nopinz offers a discretionary crash replacement discount.
The crash replacement policy covers any Nopinz garment for twelve months. (Proof of purchase and an image of the damaged kit will be required).
