Originally developed for Project 35 where the test rider concluded “In my eyes, this is the perfect road race speedsuit” the Hypersonic RR Speedsuit now brings WorldTour level performance to every road rider. Lightweight, ultra aerodynamic and fully compliant with UCI regulations, it’s built to deliver free speed in real race conditions and demanding sportives.
A carefully selected mix of advanced fabrics ensures you’re faster and more comfortable for longer. Superstripe 2 technology across the arms, back and shoulders manages airflow by precisely tripping the boundary layer, cutting drag and saving valuable watts at race pace. Diamond aero fabric on the lower back and pockets creates an exceptionally smooth surface that’s highly resistant to air penetration, further reducing turbulence around the body.
To keep you cool and dry on the hottest sportives and gran fondos, the suit uses graphene-enhanced fabrics that excel at moisture management. The shorts feature a triangular textured pattern that reduces drag while maintaining superb comfort, held perfectly in place by low profile gripper bands at the arms and thighs for a locked in race fit.
Contact points are equally refined. A gender specific Elastic Interface Paris HP chamois pad, shaped specifically for the road race position, provides all day comfort without bulk. A full front zipper makes mid-ride nature stops quick and hassle free and two easily accessed rear pockets offer practical storage for food, gels and valuables when you’re riding flat out.
For riders chasing every marginal gain, the Hypersonic RR is available with the Nopinz Speedpocket™, eliminating the need for pins and delivering an even cleaner aerodynamic profile. With an average saving of 3.6 watts over the Sonic RR Suit and up to 7 watts at 45kph, this is a genuine performance upgrade you can feel.
Offered in seven sizes with both ‘standard’ and ‘tall’ options, the Hypersonic RR Speedsuit delivers a semi bespoke fit for a broader range of body types, bringing pro level technology and speed to every ambitious road rider.

The model is 162 cm tall and weighs 55 kg, and is wearing a size XS Tall.
We recommend using height and weight if you’re unsure about sizing. If you are outside the standard height range, we suggest selecting the tall option.

If you have a spill and damage your kit, Nopinz offers a discretionary crash replacement discount.
The crash replacement policy covers any Nopinz garment for twelve months. (Proof of purchase and an image of the damaged kit will be required).
