The Hypersonic Overshoes UCI are the simple but proven and effective way to ride faster. Our Silverstone wind-tunnel testing shows an average saving of 10 watts over cotton socks in the 40 – 55km/hr window. But at 55km/hr and above, that rises to a near-14-watt saving. Core to its speed is the upper section – a one-piece construction featuring our new Superstripe 2 fabric, even faster than its predecessor. Narrower ridges trip the boundary layer flowing around the legs, delivering impressive aerodynamic savings. The lower section is made of durable polyurethane-coated Lycra that moulds to the shoe for a comfortable, aerodynamic fit. Silicone grippers at the ankle and heel keep things in place no matter how fast the cadence. They’re easy to slip on thanks to the Velcro closure beneath the shoe – no awkward zippers here.

The crash replacement policy covers any Nopinz garment for twelve months. (Proof of purchase and an image of the damaged kit will be required).
